That's why we don't 'sell' ours, rather we 'give them to a good home'. Since we are both in health care (my husband a doc and me a therapist) we have to be VERY careful on that type of thing...we live in very litigious times and when you hook letters on the end of your name you are much more susceptible to such things. Unfortunately, we also don't sell the eggs for eating for the same reason, we decided it just wasn't worth the risk, Not that we have all that much (academic medicine pays nothing like private practice) but we like what we have and don't want to loose it over a few, um, bad eggs.
THANKS, GUYS! This is exactly the feedback I was hoping to get. Ridgerunner - what you say makes very good sense...I ironically smiled at your post, though. It's too bad we live in times where we have to worry about such things, isn't it? I'll check w/my friend on "where is, as is" and see what she says. Thanks again - you guys ROCK!

I hope you realize I was trying to inject a little humor. Let us know what your friend suggests. I expect to never sell eggs or chickens, but I may barter.
