We have 5 chickens that are about 2 years old the last 2 days we have had 1 of our rock island hens that isnt wanting to come out in the yard with the rest it has been laying in the nesting box today after work
i noticed that it was out in the yard sitting but her comb is now discolored wondering if she could be sick any idea of what I should be looking for before the rest get sick with her if she is??

pale so is the waddle and it looks like her face is also she is a big chicken cant tell if her breast is really swollen it does look bigger then my other RIR but like i said she always has been bigger her comb is floppy but it always has been and as I understand that can be normal in some birds so ive never been worried about that now I have never seen the molting so I have no idea about that last winter they were in a different yard and ive been told they will be doing that soon she is out in the yard 2day again and her legs look normal

Don't worry their gizzards get full like that after they eat as for the comb - the chcken is probably just dehydrated
