We recently got into raising CC broilers for our family. We have processed 30 already but today while skinning one we found a unusual spot we have not come across. From looking around it may just be a bruise, but I’d rather be safe then sorry. This was on the leg of the bird with no other issues found elsewhere

Looks like a bruise or some other kind of past injury that hadn't quite healed yet. I would just cut around it. Or separate the leg or thigh (I can't tell which it is) and use it as dog/cat food if you really don't want to eat around it.
