So last year I hatched out 10 eggs from my snowflake hen.
In that batch produced 2 crested twins. I decided to keep both of them.
Now that there past a year old all the non-crested swedish flower hens bully the crested because they don't look like them.
So my thought is that chickens can recognize differences in individuals in the flock based on there exterior appearances. And either accept them or show them they don't belong in the flock. And also there non-crested sister behaves like all the non-crested hens toward the twins. I'm amazed at there social behavior and intelligence towards each other. Just thought I'd share some observations.
