Disease risk? Help chicka pecking and dead songbird

I have a lot of predators around so my chickas have supervised free ranging only - however - they ran to my backyard when I turned away and by the time I got to them looks like one of them pecked open a dead little songbird that must have flown in to my window. Is there anything I should be on the lookout for disease-wise? Should I put VetRx in their water to be on safe side?

There probably is not much risk for diseases if the bird flew into the window and died. If the bird had been dead for a long time, I might worry about botulism, but I doubt there is anything to worry about. There is probably no more risk of diseases than if a wild bird eats or drinks out of your chicken feeders and waterers.
