guineas are much more disease resistant then chickens, my chickens have had fowl pox and coccidiosis and my guineas never showed signs of either.

what does CRD stand for? i can look it up to see if it effects guinea fowl if i know the full name.

ok looked it up and no guineas can not get it and are not susceptible to it at all.

guineas can not get 90% of the chickens diseases out there from what i just read.

AWESOME!!!

Great to hear, a big load off of my mind. It was hard to cull my entire flock but it is better to start over than raise unhealthy pets. My guinea keets will now get to go outside in there new run. YAAAAAA!

I have a question about mites and Guineas.
Should I treat my guineas with Ivomec as i do my chickens? I drop 3cc with eyedropper of the pour on kind on the shoulder and my chickens are good to go for 6 months.

If so, do I give them good intestinal bacteria after? (yogurt in crumbles, etc.?)

I use DE in the dusting box and never have a problem. Just be careful and use a mask so you
dont breath the dust. You can even put a little in there food, it is good for them.
