I am having a HUGE problem with some of my 6 week old silkie bantams. Some have a discharge from their nose and a very gravelly cough. a couple have swollen, matted eye area. does anybody know what this is?

Definitely sounds like a respiratory illness...there is a link on here concerning identifying respiratory problems, hopefully someone else will know where to find it. You need to find duramycin 10 at your local tsc and start administering it as soon as you can. According to everyone, they will get well but they will be carriers for life. Hopefully someone will help more...
