Not sure why once in a while we get this?

What do you feed your chickens? Is the green color all the way through the egg when you cut it open, or is it just on the outside of the egg? What do the eggs look like when you break them open before cooking? Eggs can be green on the outside when the hydrogen in the albumen reacts with the sulfur in the yolk when cooked. I also read somewhere that excess cottonseed oil in feed could cause eggs to be green inside. But some people have had eggs that were contaminated with bacteria that may be blue green inside before cooking.

Thanks. I haven’t changed food for 11 hens. I only notice when boiled so far. I think all the way through but I will ask. I’m asking anyone who gets one to save it so I can see.
