Why? It's not possible to really sanitize wood, certainly not enough to remove any disease present. most of us shovel things out, and scrape off the 'big hunks', and call it good enough. You don't want to add water to unsealed wood, or have a coop damp.
Commercial facilities practice an 'all in, all out' method, and have sealed concrete or other sealed walls, and power wash the whole place with disinfectants between flocks. Great for them, not practical for us, especially if we aren't depopulating every bird on the property.
