Humidity can cause some really bizarre issues in chicks. We had one hatch that was too wet, and the chicks ended up with giant feet and most died while hatching. It is really sad to deal with, but it comes along with breeding any animal. Unfortunately, there will always be the odd chick here and there with issues, even if you do everything correctly and have the best incubator with the most stable temp and humidity.
