Disinfecting my wood floors

My husband and I have 2 ducks sleeping in the spare room. Of course we use pads, but then they still poop and pee/poop on our wood floors. In a few weeks they'll be outside in there new house and I need to find a way to disinfectant and safely clean our floors. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Hello! I use a regular disinfectant spray from the dollar store after my house is a fowl triage. Spray in sections, leave it per bottle instructions and then mop it up. After I finish the floor I then use a damp mop to clean up any excess cleaner.

Activated oxine will disinfect the entire room after you've cleaned the floor.
It will destroy all virus, bacteria and fungus.

Oxine ah without activation will work too then you don't have to wear a hazmat suit.
Also white vinegar and warm water will work too. And cheaper.

just regular cleaner and if you really want to and depending on your floor type asnd condition you could do an additional coat of boiled linseed oil or whatever is/was used on your floor.
