Dislocated leg? What to do.

I have a 3 month old pekin. Im not sure but i looked at his leg the joint is a little bit swollen and under the wings that bone is sticking out farther than the other side, so i think its dislocated. But how do i fix it, he can't walk although he trys on one leg i no it hurts, and he has lost alot of weight. What should i do.

How long has he been unabled to walk? Birds suffer from shock very easily- and trying to relocate his leg could be extremely painful. If it is in fact dislocated- a vet would be your best option as they could xray it and work out exactly where the bones are and if it is still possible to fix it.

For a month, yeah i no thats a long time but for the first week he was getting better, then he wouldn't eat for a week an 1/2. Now hes eating and thinks he can walk.
