A friend of mine brought me a hen today, with what seems to be a dislocated hock joint. She has feeling and movement in her thigh, but below the hock her leg just hangs limp. She doesn't use it at all, and she couldn't move her toes to grasp my finger. I felt the joint, it isn't swollen but it does feel disconnected. Also, the skin above her thigh is green? Thoughts? Any help is appreciated.
