Do you guys just cut off their head or do you wring the necks?? I have some roos I need to get rid of before they tear each other up.

Nevermind I found it. Wack there heads and cut it off.. Got it . I just got done cleaning 8 roos. put them in the freeze til I have more. I left 2 roos with 6 hens I guess they will do better now.

Just put one hand on their necks and one hand on their body and pull really hard. The whole neck will pop off, and they won't flop long at all. Do this outside so they can bleed out fast with no mess.

a pair of poultry shears make it really easy cut close to the head I squeeze a coupla times to help bleed them out a little if you search utube there are a few vids on "cleaning quail"

Grab the full body, wings and all in one hand, and hold snug...........grab the head, and pull the head off quickly. It's the most humane way to dispatch them. Keep the body held tight neck-end down while the nerve reaction plays out (about 10 seconds) and it bleeds out. You're done.
