Distended Chest

It appears that my hens' chests are somewhat distended. They are behaving normally and laying well, but it appears that their shape has changed. Have you ever noticed this with your flock?

If the chest is distended on the right side at the base of the throat it is probably the crop. Does if feel squishy? and is gone in the morning?

it is because they have full crops, to slowly digest the feed overnight when they are not foraging. They should go to bed all "distended" and wake up back to normal.

I have never seen my hens with crops that big.
