There are often alot of requests to color ID blackshoulder males and hens. This is extremely difficult if not impossible if parents are not known in the hens given how many new mutations there are and how many look similar. Here are some general groupings that might narrow it down for telling your hens apart.
Tan/Brown tail feathers.
Cameo, Ivory, Taupe, Peach, Purple, Indigo
Black tail feathers
Midnight, India blue, violeta, steel,
Gray tail feathers
Platinum, Charcoal, Opal,
Darker Brown tail feathers
Bronze, Hazel, Jade
Spalding throws all of these out of wack but I hope this helps.
