Distressed Hatching Situation

Hello all,

I believe that I made a grave error this morning. My chicks are on day 21, no pip, no zip. I began to panic and decided to assist one, for fear of its life. I took off the back part of the egg, the air sac area. Again, no pip. There was blood, so I stopped, wrapped it in a damp towel, and put it back in the bator. Can I please get assurance that everything will be OK??? Do I still have a chance of these babies making it, as well as the one that I foolishly intervened with??

Give them more time - you didn't mention what kind of incubator you used
but if there was no fan to keep the temp very stable it could take a day or
so longer. Sadly, the one you opened won't make it. Leave them alone.
