Dividing a 4' x 8' pen and flooring

Can you don't one of the 2x5 pens in half for two 2x2.5 pens to be used as breeders? Then the other 2x5 could be used as a brooder (may need a plywood insert for floor). I would then keep the 4x8 completely open as a colony pen.

I don’t have an easy way to get power to the hutches, so I probably won’t brood in them. I’d have to run an extension cord through the yard and my dog is still dumb enough to chew on it . (He’s only about six months). I had dividers made but I used them to put side doors on my duck tractor last night so I’ll see if I have time to make more haha. (I need to get a roof on this hutch tonight)
