DIY chicken door cover for cold weather?

Has anyone tried using clear shower curtains as a blocker whether is be on the entrance to the coop or the outside to block wind? Pros? Cons?

You could easily build a wind block with just a piece of wood running parallel to the front of the coop and with a cover so they have to walk in from the side(s) rather than straight in....the wind would significantly be cut that way

This was from 6 winters ago. They probably figured something out. The OP hasn't been around since.

I cut out a peice of sheeting and screwed some pink board to one side of it and it works sooooo good!
