What is everyone using for dividers in their incubators? Im currently using a Hovabator.
Trying to figure out the best way to keep breeds separate during hatching.

I am eventually going to purchase a second incubator so I can stagger the hatch dates of different breeds.

I've used mesh bags: cheap tulle from the fabric store, a line of stitching to make it into a bag, top tied shut with a piece of string.

I have also seen mesh hatching bags for sale online, but opted to whip up something from what I had around the house at the time, and it seemed to work well enough.

This was my question exactly! Today is my day 18 and I wanted to separate a batch of pure Ameraucanas from some olive eggers because they are the only ones that can get mixed up in this current clutch.
I was going to go see if I could find a plastic file basket or something... and create a egg basket like they use in those big incubators.
I'll let you know what I end up doing and how it works. Maybe if I can find some small mesh laundry bags I might go that route.

So here is what I did... just because it was in a pinch but it worked. I just tossed it when I was done.. For my next batch I'm going to try the mesh bags or a basket turned over.
