DIY Incubator V2.0

Hey, no problem with the photobucket stuff. I try to share as much as I possibly can with others. Actually, the reason I am good at stuff like this, is because I am too cheap to go out and buy pre-made stuff, and I learn TONS more by trial and error than I ever would from opening a box and plugging something in.. So far, I have $0.00 in this total project. Most of the goodies (junk) I have around the place was either given to me, or going to be thrown out, and I could not justify seeing something perfectly fine go into the trash. The acrylic the egg turner is built out of used to be guarding on a machine. The company I worked for was scrapping the machine (only 2 years old) and they were going to throw away about 20 sheets that measure approx 4 ft x 5ft.... 3/8" thick. Now, there are some things I draw the line on bringing home... For the most part, I only bring home stuff that I know I will someday use. If I bring something home, and it doesn't get used fairly quick, I pass it on to someone else that can use it. Thanks for following my thread, and I will try to keep it updated as much as I can.

Jason,

Just before my "health" went South on me, my most recent business was an automotive "wrecking yard". (Hence the name: Junkmanme).

Sometimes people would want to rid themselves of "junk" that was not particularly "automotive", which I usually accepted (space permitting).

I also have some JUNK "plexiglas" 3/8 inch thick here at the house that I salvaged from the business before I sold out. (Due to health concerns---another heart-attack during the transition, I left a LOT of "Stuff" that I wish I had to "work" with NOW!) I had done that before with another business when my health went to Hades!!!

Plexiglas is QUITE EXPENSIVE when purchased NEW in 4 X 8 sheets!

It is a JOY (and GOOD for the envirionment) to Re-Use materials and make "something worthwhile" out of $HIT.....

I really enjoy the "kick" it gives my PRIDE.

It is ALSO a good way to save money in an indirect way!

Good for YOU!

I'm of the same "frame-of-mind". (It's a "kick-in-the-butt" !!!
