I think it looks PERFECT!

For sitting in the chicken yard, I wouldn't have gone with white paint in case the birds poop on it. But just my opinion.

Thanks Kuntrygirl!! That's one reason it's brown. Lol. They will definitely get on it and poop. Also the chicken yard is very earthy. Lol

That is exactly why I thought it was so perfect. I already knew it before you even said anything. As soon as I saw the color, I was like BINGO! PERFECT!!! I love the earthy look.

ok, from a guys standpoint I would have used white paint, you know it will get pooped on, a guy doesn't want it to show up, wayyy to much cleaning required

X2. Alarming and sad. We can all do our part. It's like the Starfish story. Where thousands of Starfish are washed up on the shore and lying in the hot sun. A man on the beach is throwing them one at a time back into the ocean. Another man came along and said "you can never throw all these Starfish back in, why do you bother?" The man throwing the Stsrfish answered as he threw one more back into the ocean,"because it matters to this one ." It's the same about the environment and each and every critter that we care for: every little piece we do does really matters. Thanks for hearing me out. The problem isn't so big that we do nothing. I agree PrimroseMom1, and I very rarely get off my soap box about these things.

People really need to pay attention to what is happening to the world around them and step up and do their part. Maybe I should get a step stool for my soap box, it has gotten soooo tall these days. lol

Yep, the bench is pretty cool looking for a chicken watching couch. I have had my eye out for something that the horses will not try and flip over while I am out there. I think a big bench like that might work.



Here is a pic of him flipping my chair and looking at me like what? Is that not as funny to you as it was me?

Well, I wouldn't paint it white, either, but I guess you could at least see the poop and not sit in it if it was fresh!

LOL See the picture in my avatar? Shes 17.1 hands and when fit shes around 1800 lbs. I was boarding her at a ranch where she had a queendom in a mare motel with an aisle. About thirty horses all together. I had a resin bench wide enough for two people or a person and a bucket. It was on the OUTSIDE of her corral. The ranch owner told me to remove it. Because my darling daughter was reaching over the fence and picking the bench up with her teeth and waiving it at the other horses. Causing MAYHEM. Any kind of sitting surface has to be roebust enough for a Percheron to put her foot on it and push. So my sitting spots are outside the corral.... LOL.
