Ozark Mountain Foothills of Arkansas
Sadly we have decided to rehome our lovely emu pair due to the fact that they have become very territorial towards our chickens (trying to kill any new ones or chicks) and we cannot afford to lose any profit we make breeding chickens.
The emus are very social and sweet towards people and bigger animals, but they need their own area or at least be away from chickens and smaller poultry. They've stomped our ducks and geese to death on a few occasions.
We are definitely getting back into raising emus, however, right now we have decided to rehome our male and female. When we fence in more acerage sometime soon we will be getting more, but right now we don't think it's possible.

These 2 are located in Ash Flat, AR. If you have any questions or would like more information, please call 281-258-6098 or privately message me on BYC. We are saddened it has come to this, but it will be better for our birds right now.

Serious inquiries only, they are not cheap animals. Pick up only.

You have a pet emu in America?! That should be illegal! They are wild, and deserve to be wild!

Emus are absolutely in America. Ive seen a lot in the rural Asian communities. These lovely people are sad enough they have to get rid of their animals. Please don’t bash someone that’s already having to deal with deciding to get rid of animals they obviously love.

Bash them? I'm sorry, but, I am in Australia and you would be disheartened to see how fast the wild emu population is decreasing. I also didn't know about how common emus are in the US. I'm sorry if I offended you, but, to be honest, I maintain my viewpoint as to how emus should be illegal. :D

Cheers,
