Do all chicks sing? or are my just strange?

My first group of babys were quit "normal" chickens. The only time I heard from them for the first 7 weeks was if they were out of water or food, they were not loud but just grumbled a bit.
Now I have chicks that sound like they sing, I often cant tell if the noise is from the inside or outside of the house. They are always making more racket then the first batch. They do sound like "normal" chickens at times but then one will start in with the loud singing rather then chirping.

my baby turkeys did that, I never heard of chickens singing, maybe you got some turkeys by accident??

All of my peeps have been singers. They are especially noisy at dawn and dusk. Their song is sung when they are happy. They peep obnoxiously when they want something or their light goes out.

I live in the city so I purposely chose to get a light brahma chick since they were 'supposed' to be docile and quiet-

YEAH RIGHT! she sings happily to herself while she eats, while she dances around her brooder when she is out and about 'playing' with us- even sings herself to sleep.

she is happy and not distressed so I don't worry...I think she just likes having conversations with
herself. She has a silkie playmate now, it has quieted her but only slightly.

I am praying she quiets down when she gets to be an adult or we could be in trouble!
