Do All Guineas Like Water?

I have 8 Royal Purple Guineas that are almost 10 weeks old. They live in the hen house with the chickens. They are a funny bunch. They will run all over my feet but if I try to reach down and touch them, they run away. If I have lettuce in my hands they will jump in the air trying to get it off me. If I put new dirt in the "dust bath" bin, they will push the chickens out because they love it so much. And now if they see me pick up the hose, they get all excited. I have found out that they like to be sprayed lightly with the hose. Do all Guineas like water like this? It is pretty cute.
The chickens just walk away when I spray them.

yes, you do have some cuties there....my guys do not like water...
they sound more like my ducks who enjoy a light water spray
from time to time....have fun with them...I don't speak for everyone
that has guineas, funny little guys, so others may have some
that like the water...but not mine....enjoy your young'uns!

I didn't realize the guineas liked water, but they share an enclosed pen with my Pekins and they all like a light mist. I have no idea what others' experience, but definitely, mine like water!

we are first time guinea owners, ours are 8 weeks old. they already seem to have some healthy lungs. i'll see if they like water in time.

Mine never showed any liking for water, but one thing I can say is that they live **** near forever!
My 2nd last one left died at a minimum age of 22, and the last one I have has to be at least 18 years old.

I hope you love your guineas, because you've got them for a long time1 lol
