Do all laying hens get red wattles?

I have Easter Eggers. Do they get red wattles also before they begin laying? They are 15 weeks old. I'm eager for my first egg.

Don't be too eager. Early egg-laying can be detrimental to a hen's overall health and longevity. Besides, you still have at least a month of continued waiting.

Ameraucaunas and EE's are known to start laying eggs very late, so I wouldn't get too excited just yet.
