I apologize if this is redundant, I searched for an answer to no avail. We have a wonderful roo who got an infection in his wattles from a fight, compounded by frostbite. We treated with penicillin. He recovered quickly and is back with the ladies. My question is how long do we have to wait to be able to eat the eggs... or do the roosters antibiotics not carry through to the eggs? Thank you for your time... I hope I posted this in the correct place.

Antibiotics only effect eggs if given to laying hens.
