We are new to the chicken raising hobby. We have two that are about 2 months old which appear to be perfectly normal. They are growing and looking good. However, we got two more two weeks ago, a Rhode Island Red and a New Hampshire Red, that seem to be losing "peach fuzz" around the tops of their necks. When they stretch their necks the neck kind of looks bald. We didn't notice this occurring with the other two but they are a Barred Rock and an Ameraucana so they are black. I may be a worrisome mom but not sure what to think. We don't have them with the older chicks yet so it's not that they are being bullied. I'm posting some pictures so you can see. Any help would be much appreciated.

As their juvenile feathers grow in, the down feathers get pushed out. They will go through several sets of feathers until they are fully grown and mature. Your chicks look completely normal.

Thank you sooo much for replying. I figured it was normal but just wanted to make sure. I'm guessing we missed it with the other two because of the coloring.
