Do bantams live longer?

Do bantams live longer than large fowl chickens? I vaguely remember reading something about size affecting life-span, but can't recall exactly what it said.

I'm quite certain bantams do live longer. My standard birds usually only make it seven or so years, whereas I have bantams that are over ten years old and still going strong.
