Do blue copper marans breed true?

Hi,

So I tried googling this but I'm confused. I would like to order a blue copper maran from the hatchery My Pet Chicken. Am I guaranteed to get a chicken that is blue like the pictures? Because that would be ideal. Or would I be getting some kind of black or white or splash one? Thank you!

It does not breed true. You will probably have a chance of getting black and splash but I am not 100%

For what it's worth, I ordered splash marans from MyPetChicken, and both hens are turning out gorgeous.
