That is great to see. I have a BCM that no mater what will not give up even though I've been taking eggs from her for well over a month. She had a few Olive egger eggs under her, but they didn't make it, I candled around the time they should of hatch one was veryyyyyy yucky in side, and the other appeared to have a chick in it, yesterday she had nothing under her except two spitzenhauben eggs. So I gave her some Duccle eggs (my girl just started lay a week ago) I do have a question for you, when you say two are raising the chicks did they share a box? I won't let anyone else in her nesting box except her because I saw the one push her off then just hover over the eggs. I know the other girls lay in her box when she gets up. I want her to stay in the coop, there are only 5 other hens and 3 roosters. Do you think it will be alright?
