Do broodies work beter than bators??? Help!

So I gave her some Duccle eggs (my girl just started lay a week ago) I do have a question for you, when you say two are raising the chicks did they share a box? I won't let anyone else in her nesting box except her because I saw the one push her off then just hover over the eggs. I know the other girls lay in her box when she gets up. I want her to stay in the coop, there are only 5 other hens and 3 roosters. Do you think it will be alright?
