My eggs are all standards (not sure that matters)
I will be hatching Orps (buff and blue) SS, Black Australorps and JG.
As far as you know, should I expect them to all hatch at the same time or will some take longer than others?

What's your experience?

My buffs were the first ones out of the eggs, on day 20. Speckledhen says her blue orp, take their sweet time and don't hatch until later.

When the chicks hatch isn't necessarily breed related, but rather strain related. I've heard of at least one flock of birds that were selectively bred for many generations (grad student work) so that the chicks would hatch on day 19. The original flock all came from standard 21 days to hatch birds too. I wouldn't doubt that some birds hatch on day 21+- 1 day though, especially from show quality lines since those birds are often bred within similar family lines.
