Do chicken coops smell?

Hahaha!! I Know, Right!
It's as funny as it is frustrating, funnier after they all go to roost themselves without having to have a chicken rodeo.

Your setup looks great BTW, should work great with good ventilation and a reasonable flock size.

When sifting everyday, I often think "Shake and Bake, and I Helped!" (Wonder who's old enough to remember that one?)

Thanks---it's still a work in progress. We need to figure out some kind of covering, at least a partial cover, for one thing.
The ventilation right now is two windows, a vent with a door---about five feet long and six inches high, and a bunch of holes we cut out with a hole saw up near the roof peak at both ends of the coop.
We have six chicks and I really am fine with that right now. Yes, I know about chicken math, lol.
And I am very much old enough to remember the Shake and Bake commercial. Way old enough.

I'm no youngster either. When I was a kid we watched Howdy Doody. It seems like a lifetime ago. Good luck and have fun...
