Do chickens fly over electric poultry fence?

I'm thinking about putting electric poultry fencing/netting outside of the run to make a free range area. Will the chickens fly over the fence?

I think it probably depends on your chickens. My black sex links would always fly over while my red sex links never did. My brahmas and orps would also stay put due to their size. If you have leghorns or other flighty breeds then you could probably guarantee it.

How about EEs? How likely are they to fly over a fence?

My EEs can fly over a 4 ft fence in a heartbeat. Clip a wing if you don't want them to fly. My Polish, Sebrights, D'Uccles could and have all flown out of a portable pen before, too.

My EE is like Houdini about escaping a little four foot fence.

I had a paddock with a 4' garden fence for my Black Copper Marans and 2 of the 5 hens could easily hop/fly over, and they are pretty big girls. Not sure if the rest didn't because they couldn't or didn't want to.
