Do chickens get scared of thunder and lightning?

Hello. Right now in PA there is a bad thunder storm. I had this random thought that are my girls scared of the loud thunder?

If they're not used to it, it can scare them the first few times, but they get over it.

Agreed any new loud sound with frighten them but they get use to stuff pretty quick

I can concur, my girls are outside DURING thunderstorms now at this point. They were a bit scared at first but being in NC we get them CONSTANTLY and now they don't even pay them any mind anymore.

IDK if they were scared, but a storm moved through with 60 mph winds and 4" of rain in 20 minutes. The girls were all huddled under a camper shell.
Now that flock of (about 100) geese that flew over, the chicks freaked out and ran into their coop.
