Do Chickens move eggs from one nest to another?

We have a broody sitting on four marked eggs. She is on the top nest box of a duplex row. This morning, we found one of marked eggs two boxes away - but still on the top row. Nobody had gathered eggs yet, so people didn't do this. This wasn't on the bottom row - but the top.

They do, and this is why it is best to keep other birds away from setting hens to try for a higher % hatch rate.

We are planning on building her a broody nest and fencing it off. She was only hatched herself on Aug 1, so I wasn't expecting a broody so soon. But, alas, nature has other plans.
