Update! Get this!! So, I was out last night checking just after the girls went in. They were all adjusting to their places on the roost and what did I see? A chicken sitting on the back of another! The chicken with the broken feathers! Her sister was sitting on her back. So, I'm assuming that her broken back feathers are a result of the nightly tussle. Craziness.
