Do chickens speak crow?

Mine did the same thing until recently. It was too funny!

I do believe they know what the crows are yelling about. Sometimes they ignore some of the crows ruckus but other times they make a run for the coop and I see the crows after a hawk. If a crow is just telling his buds about some spicy dish he found, mine make no effort to run so I sit and watch the fun of nature. Better than politics, I assure you!

Diesel, my pitbull, is constantly on guard. He stands at the window and tells me if anything is out there. He even gets upset if he sees little birdies out there. He's the best guard dog for those birds. When I let him out, I tell him to go check his chickens...and he runs straight to the back yard and pees all over the sides of the pen and cage.

my birds know my dogs, and will let me know if there is something other than my dogs out there.
