do chicks get constipated??

Very new to this...my 4 day old mixed breed bantam chick has hard compacted poop stuck to her bum. I wiped it off with some warm water and a paper towel but it just came back again, and the other mixed breed chick (same batch) is now doing the same. All the others (French Marans) are fine, just these 2. Their brooder is nice and clean and a good temperature, and they are otherwise fine, eating, drinking, preening etc. - am I worrying over nothing?

Chicks often get a condition called "pasty butt". This is very normal, and is by no means something to worry about. Just keep them clean, make sure they are getting enough water and nutrition, and they will be fine! The only time to worry is if it is and abnormal color (red, extremely yellow, orange).
