Do chicks know to go back into the coop like adult chickens do?

So I currently have 6 1/2 week chicks moved into my coop in a cage for a few days. I free range all my adult chickens so I was just wondering if the chicks will have the same instinct as adults to go back to the coop at night or is hearding chicks at sundown in my future? P

My chicks are 7 weeks old and are outside, and they go in the coop by themselves at night. You might have to help them the first two nights so they get used to it though.
