Do Chicks Vomit??????

I think while I was reaching for my chick it threw up some clear goo? I just played with them it was really cute

I'd dip 2 or 3 fingers in the water and put a few droplets on the wall of the brooder and they'd peck at it like CRAZY!!

I mixed the water with some Gatorade so maybe it drank too much and wasn't use to it? It was just clear stuff... like human spit

That's why I don't think it had to do with what she/he ate.......

Should I be really concerned or what? Please any inputs would be GREAT!!

They regurgitate; especially if they've been drinking lots of water.

My late great roo Thor regurgitated water often as a chick, but he outgrew it.

I get the impression that any miss placed pressure on their crop can bring up food. I had this problem when I was holding a hen upside down while I cleaned an injured foot. I was worried she was sick but it just turns out that I'd put my hand on her crop by accident. Poor girl

I've seen it once with my brahma. I think she drank too much water.
