Do crows make trades?

Do crows make trades? Because I’ve been finding pieces of bagels in the duck yard after they been stealing eggs

I've read they do make trades. Bagels for eggs sounds like a decent trade to me. @TwoCrows ? Maybe she can help. Crows steal eggs here too. They will also snatch chicks I learned the hard way.

Yes they do leave offerings if they feel they are getting an even trade. They do like to share. I've been left sticks, stones and pieces of shingles, no doubt my own shingles off the roof.

I feed the crows and ravens dry dog food occasionally, they sometimes leave me things.

I have been feeding crows for many years and still waiting for them to bring me something. When growing up we had a couple pet crows, one day the phone rang and it was the high school calling for us to come and get George because he was disrupting the football game. Another time George kept taking the neighbors tools and car parts and drop them down another neighbor's chimney, George died by shotgun blast.
