Do ducks lay light green eggs?

My two dark campbells lay gorgeous green eggs.
From what i can tell, laying green or blue eggs is an undesirable throwback trait for that breed, but I like finding them in the morning.

I just did a search on Welsh Harlequin ducks and I didn't realize that I have one of these girls. I guess I never knew what breed she was. Soooo, I guess she could be laying these eggs as well. I'm sure I'll never know.

Yup, both ducks lay eggs with a very slight green tint to them. I should know - Nettie makes me collect the eggs so Victor and Ming Mei will be angry at me for stealing their eggs and not her!

WOW ! I have definitely learned something new today. I never knew. It just makes a person wonder. What goes on in their bodies that makes them lay different colored eggs. Do you all eat your duck eggs? Do you sell them?

Why is it an undesirable throwback trait? What does that mean?

I don't know why it's an undesirable trait, but I did read somewhere that some Campbell derived breeds will lay the green eggs as a throw back to the Campbell background (Saxony and Harlequin come to mind). Personally, I think it's kind of cool.

I do sell my duck eggs.

I just got my Calls this past summer and i will be hatching their eggs and selling the ducklings next spring.
But if i have to many eggs i will probably sell them i'm so new to them i have no idea how many eggs i will get.
My one white call laid 15 before before she went broody and i was like
