Do ducks need grit like chickens?

If they freerange they are likely to pick up enough on their own - they will often just eat some dirt- looks strange to see them do that when the feed isnt far away... But if they are locked in a smaller pen and only fed pellets- then you may need to provide them with some in a different feed bowl to their normal food.
