I purchased Cream Leg Bar eggs to incubate and they arrived big beautiful and if my memory serves me right a tiffany blue. But they were certainly very blue and they were beautiful. I was only able to get one hen from that hatch and 3 roosters (isn't that always the way) Well she just started laying and the color is the same as my Americana's They are pretty but they are definitely more green. So do you think overtime they will change shade.

Well this is a disappointment.... wonder why this happened all eggs were blue going in and these were the only chickens that have been together...... ugghhh,,,,,,,,,, disappointment.

Well not saying I don't believe you but I don't want to think that is what happened. The girl that runs the hatchery seems to have a nice operation going I am really hopping that is not the case. They are flighty birds and not my favorite at all but the next ones I will raise with my silkies cause I had one survivor from the 2nd hatch and she was raised with them and oh boy what a difference. That's my donation to the chicken world! LOL
