Despite the use of DE I still have more flies than I want. I used the fly traps with lure and although they seem to work they stink up the whole yard (I don’t have a big property so no matter where I hang it in my yard I can smell it). So I am looking for a non stinking way to reduce the fly population. Any tips and ideas are appreciated.

I think the electric buzzer would work. Our neighbors have one for mosquitoes. I also have great luck with fly tape. With either method, be sure the device is SECURELY attached to something up VERY high as birds can get injured/sticky if they fall down :p

It's a TOLOCO Mosquito Killer, the Zapper T6 Pro Model, I think. The zapper had no other identification markings. :) The Internet probably has an answer.

I was looking for a zapper with the space inside the trap that can add bate to attract fly. Have anyone run across 1?

I had a mite issue and flies. I sprayed my coops with permethrin to get rid of the mites and to my surprise it also eliminated the flies. It's such a pleasure to walk into a coop and not be bombarded with flies. I tried many different things in the past including DE and still had a lot of flies. The bonus is there is no egg withdrawal period. I get it at TSC. Some companies make cattle ear tags that has permethrin in them to help keep the flies off of the cattle.
