Do feathers change color?

My rooster is about 3 years old now and mostly all his feather are white now. Is this normal?

I'm not sure if this addresses your issue but my birds tend to get lighter with age. Not a lot - just not as vibrant as when they were younger. Also, the molt makes birds looks very grey and dingy as lighter feathers underneath are exposed. Is your rooster molting right now?

Yes now he is molting but all his feathers are turning completely white. Might be that he is crossed with a different breed.

They do change in color often times after a molt. I haven't heard of them changing a whole color though. Will see if I can find a thread for you to read up on molting.

This is how he looks now, all white pretty much. Before he had sunburst orange and one white feather on his tail.

I have no answer for you, but that is strange. Hopefully someone does, I've never seen that before.

Edited to add, are you sure that's the same rooster in both photos?
