Do guinea hens hatch their own eggs?

My Guinea fowl had about 40 eggs. I have put all of them gradually one by one into an incubator. One a day. Only 1 ( one ) was viable and is hatching just tonight. Rest of them all 39 did nothing. I have few just collected this week and watching them closely. What is the reason?
Well, how many male chicken can you count? If the males are too many for the females the probability of hatching reduces. Remove the extra males and leave the ratio 1: 7 at least most is 1:9 females. The gather at least a week drop before putting them in an incubator so you shojld have evenly hatching.

Yes, they do hatch their eggs but advisably it is better to use incubator.

This information may be correct when applied to chickens.

We are talking about guineas here. The proper ratio of males to females for guineas is 1:1.

If you use chicken ratios for guineas, you will get many infertile eggs.

Guiineas normally pair off and any extra males tend to form a bachelor group that serves guard duty for the rest of the flock.
