I had ILT in my coop this past winter. really long story, but have kept a closed flock and have vaccinated all new birds before they are ever added with the flock. So far this has been successful. I am fully aware of the risks involved with managing this disease in this manner. I really need to know if Guineas are able to catch ILT or any other respiratory infection. We won't get them if we can't protect them. Thanks so much!!

Infectious laryngotracheitis? I'm not real sure about that one. I've heard they can get MG so I would assume they are susceptible to the others as well.

any folks out there with Guinea experience? I have eggs in the incubator and not sure if I can vaccinate them for ILT like we have been doing before moving them out to the coop. I don't want to send them out unprotected unless they don't get this disease. Thanks!
