Do hens do aggression dances and flog?

That is a very pretty bird. But I have to ask, what does "flog" mean?
It’s when a chicken kicks up their legs. They throw their feet like they are throwing a punch. But they don’t have hands so... they use their legs and feet. It’s how they fight. A full grown Rooster can really put a hurt on you. It’s surprising the power they have.

It's now 7 weeks old. The barring leaves me believing it's a pullet. But the behavior today on top of the size, redness, and the three rows of bumps on the comb make me think cockerel.
At 7 weeks, the redness of comb(and 3 rows) says it all.

Yes, hens/pullets will flog and wing dance, but that is a cockerel.
Ditto Dat^^^

Still thinking cockerel on this one....that little comb is pretty pink. :)

But as for your original question, yes, females absolutely will wing dance, fight, and even flog their handlers. These behaviors are simply more commonly attributed to cockerels/roosters.

Yep...my LH is in charge if the others don’t head her verbal warning she’ll grab the neck feathers While flogging...she’s very jealous if I hold or cuddle other chickens.
She’ll put a whopping on anyone who jumps up during Her lap time. She’s so devious that she’ll wait until I put her down. She’ll let them go so she’s not vicious...just a chicken! She’s fought cockerel’s too with them she drew blood! Ran them down afterwards. She’s the smallest in size but watch out! LOL she’s my absolute favorite.
All moxie :thumbsup
